How we choose tours for Aruba

Checked October 21, 2026 park fees and hours re-checked every morning; the Viator catalogue for Aruba was read in full on September 23, 2026, and the counts below are from that reading. Tours on our pages were re-checked on October 15, 2026

A tour listing is written to sell. The difference between a good day and a wasted one hides in the details the listing skips. So this site doesn't list everything for you. It reads everything, then keeps the tours I'd book for my own family. Here's exactly how. The numbers are in, so you can check the work.

The method

Five steps, the same for every list

  1. 1
Read the whole catalogue, not the first page

Viator lists 491 tours for Aruba. Every one of them got read. The itinerary and the inclusions. The pickup notes, and the fine print on ages and licenses. Viator's own order mixes paid placement with ratings, so you won't see it here.

  2. 2
Keep the operators with a long, clean record

A tour stays only if travelers rate it 4.5 or better, and at least 30 of them have said so on Viator and Tripadvisor together. If it has at least 5 reviews on Viator, its Viator average has to reach 4.5 too. Even when the combined number looks fine. It set aside 254 tours with fewer than 30 reviews, 22 rated under 4.5 and 16 with a weak Viator score. A new tour with 3 perfect reviews waits until you and 27 others have said so.

  3. 3
    Fit first, then rank

A list holds only tours that do what the list says. The Natural Pool list holds only tours with a planned stop at Conchi. Rangers can still close the pool on the day. Inside a list the reviews set the order, then the ratings. Nothing gets moved up to sell you something.

  4. 4
Compare the exact option, not the title

The price you see is the lowest price of the option named on the card, per person or per vehicle. The card says which, and whether the park entry is in the price or paid on the day. Check the extras for the option you book before you pay.

  5. 5
    Re-read, and say when

Each price and each rating carries the date it was read. So does every hour. Prices get checked against Viator every night, and a changed price gets changed here. The lists get a full review every 2 weeks. A tour that slips below the bar after it made a list stays with a note you can see until that review, not overnight. Nothing here is sold to you by this site. Every button goes to Viator at Viator's price.

What I don't do
  • No "best price" or "guaranteed" claims; those belong to the marketplace.
  • No operator's description copied. Every sentence you read here is built from the listing's own fields.
  • Only tours I'd book for my own family, whatever the commission.
  • No price without its unit: per person or per vehicle, with the fees paid on the day where the listing names them.

Good to know

People also ask

  • Do you get paid when I book?

Yes. Book through a button on this site and Viator pays a commission. Your price is the same as on Viator, and the commission never changes the order of a list.

  • Why isn't my favorite tour on the list?

Most often it has too few reviews yet, or a Viator score under 4.5, or it doesn't do what the list is for. Write to desk@arubaday.com with the tour and you'll hear which of the 3 it is.

  • How often do the lists change?

Every 2 weeks, when I review them against Viator's catalogue. Prices get checked every night. The date of the last check sits at the top of every page you open.
