Good to know

Know before you go

  • Kids pay less on the boats Arusun charges $35 for ages 5 to 11, and under 5 sail free. Dolphin takes 4 to 12 at $44. Octopus takes 3 to 11 at $50, Pelican at $59, Red Sail 3 to 11 at $85. On the shore tours the ages start at 4 with Underdog, 6 with Nautilus and 8 with the rest.
  • The Antilla is a boat trip The wreck lies on its side in 60 ft of water off Malmok. Every sail on this list goes there. The shore tours on this list stay by the beach.
  • Turtles live at Tres Trapi and Malmok The shore tours go in at the north end where the turtles feed. The earliest slots are Turtle tours' 6:30 a.m. and the 8 a.m. ones.
  • Cancellation Free until 24 hours before on every tour here except the Jolly Pirate sail, where all sales are final.
  • Ship days A 3-ship day can put about 10,000 people ashore. Book before the day, and check the port schedule on this site.

People also ask

  • Where is the best snorkeling in Aruba?

Two places, and they need different tours. The Antilla wreck and the Boca Catalina reef sit off the north end and you reach them by catamaran from Palm Beach. Turtles feed at Tres Trapi and Malmok, a short walk in from the shore with a guide. Mangel Halto on the southeast side has coral and a small wreck in calm water.

  • Can you snorkel the Antilla shipwreck from shore?

No. The Antilla lies about a kilometer off Malmok, on her side in 60 ft of water. Every sail on this list goes there. The shore tours on this list stay by the beach.

  • How much does a snorkeling tour cost in Aruba in 2026?

$55 to $125 per person on this list, with one exception: a solo booking of the 75 minute private turtle snorkel is $178. The classic 2.5 to 3 hour sail with open bar is $63 to $69. Sails with a meal run $75 to $108. A private turtle guide from the shore is $85 to $125, and the price drops with your group size: the 75 minute private snorkel is $89 per adult when at least 2 adults book.

  • Which snorkel tour is best for kids?

Dolphin, if they can swim: a water slide, a rope swing and a $44 price for ages 4 to 12. Arusun charges $35 from 5, and under 5 sail free. From the shore, Underdog takes kids from 4 with a private guide, and Coral Ocean from 8 in groups of 4 or 5.

  • Do I need to know how to swim?

It depends on the tour. Underdog asks for basic swimming skills. Coral Ocean takes beginners from 8. The boats hand out vests, and Red Sail makes a life jacket mandatory for kids who can't swim. Tell the operator when you book.
