Waves hollowed a cave in the coral limestone cliffs. Wind and water wore away the coast.
An arch remained from the ancient cave. It spanned about 100 ft and stood 23 to 25 ft above the sea.
A crack appeared at one end before the collapse. The cause of the fall remains unknown.
The arch fell before dawn. Nobody was there. The cause was unknown when the bridge fell.
The fallen span remains in the cove. You can see the smaller Baby Natural Bridge still standing beside it.
