How does the day work?
The operator's itinerary has 10 points with its own minutes. The notes are mine.

1. RockaBeach base at Bushiri Karting Speedway
You check in at the base and get the safety talk before you collect the keys. Free parking if you drive here.

2. Blackstone Beach and the Three Sister Bridges
Black pebbles instead of white sand. Three arches side by side. The first photo stop.

3. Ayo Rock Formations
Slow pass by the boulders and the Arawak petroglyphs; no stop.

4. Andicuri Beach
A slow pass along the bay with the big waves. Looking, not swimming, on this coast.

5. Baby Natural Bridge and the three bridges
Ten minutes at the small bridge and the three arches. The big Natural Bridge collapsed; these are the ones left.

6. Bushiribana Ruins
Ten minutes at the old gold smelter walls. The guide tells the story.

Ten minutes at the northwest tip. Both coasts from one hill.

9. Boca Catalina
Twenty minutes in the calm bay the snorkel catamarans anchor in. Bring swim gear.

Back to the base, then the shuttle to your hotel or the port.
Stops add up to about 80 minutes of the 240. The rest is the dirt road along the north coast between Blackstone Beach and the lighthouse. The morning run goes from 9 to 1, and the 2:30 p.m. run ends around 6:30, so the swim comes late in the day.
Pickup and meeting point
- Base: RockaBeach Tours at Bushiri Karting Speedway, the island's go-kart track. Free parking if you drive there yourself. Be there at 8:15 a.m. or 1:45 p.m.
- Hotels: Outside the lobby or the security gate, 8:15 a.m. for the morning tour and 1:45 p.m. for the afternoon.
- Cruise terminal: Outside, in front of the Citgo gas station, 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. or 1:45 to 2 p.m.
- Miss the shuttle: It leaves without you. Then you take a taxi to the base to join.

Fit
Is this tour right for you?
Choose it if you want the north coast in 4 hours and you want to drive. It works best for 2 to 6 people in one vehicle. Of the 40 UTV and ATV listings for Aruba it has the most reviews, and it ends with a real swim.
Look at ABC's pool tour if Conchi is the point; this route never enters Arikok. Look at Go Cherry's ATV if you're one person on a budget: $140 there against $162 here for a single ATV.
Who it's not for
- Anyone pregnant, with a back or spine problem, or with a serious medical condition.
- Anyone who wants the Natural Pool. It isn't on this route.
- A solo traveler on a budget. The single ATV here is $162; Go Cherry's is $140.

Know before you go
Minimum age 18 to drive, with a valid license. Children from 6 ride in the 4- and 5-seat UTVs. One driver per vehicle, no switching.
Not recommended if you are pregnant or have a spinal injury. You need a moderate level of fitness and no serious medical conditions.
Swim gear and a towel for Boca Catalina, sunglasses and closed shoes. A bandana and goggles are sold at the base. Water and a cookie are in; lunch is not.

- Do I need a driver's license for the Aruba UTV & ATV Adventure?
Yes. RockaBeach needs drivers 18 and over with a valid license, and the driver stays the driver for the whole tour. Children from 6 ride in the 4- and 5-seat UTVs.

No. The swim stop is Boca Catalina on the west coast. The UTV tour on our list that reaches Conchi is ABC Tours' six-hour tour with a jeep transfer into Arikok.
